Navantia shipyards of The New Buildings, situated on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean, have versatile facilities with a wide variety of docks and slipways, that allow the shipbuilding of great ships.
The Engine Factory located in Cartagena has modern capacities made up of assembly lines, machine shops, test beds, thermal treatment, casting, metrology and calibration laboratories, all of which enable the company to respond with agility to clients requirements.
Navantia has Shiprepairs in: Cadiz, Cartagena, Ferrol/Fene and San Fernando which have great infrastructure and equipment to carry out specific repairs and transformations, including the maintenance and the repair of engines.
The Systems Production Unit has two centres, one in San Fernando and the other in Cartagena, which enjoy an enormous engineering capability and modern installations.
Each of these centres provide employment and continuous training to highly qualified staff, and have excellent production facilities adapted to the needs of each product in order to guarantee quality and compliance with delivery schedules.
